How to Purchase Mutual Funds in a Multi-Holding Account
Find out how you can purchase Mutual Funds with an existing TD Multi-Holding Account using the TD app.

Step 1: Go to the View Accounts screen
From the View Account screen, select the Purchase button to begin the purchase process.
Step 2: Begin the purchase process
On the Purchase screen, in the Mutual Fund to Purchase menu ensure the Mutual Fund displayed is the fund you wish to contribute to.
Please note, you can only contribute to funds you already own.
Next, in the Make Purchase Using menu, select the account you wish to draw funds from.
Step 3: Enter transaction information
In the Amount field, enter the amount of money you wish to contribute.
Select Yes or No from Are you using borrowed money to make this investment?
Keep in mind, investments cannot be purchased online using borrowed money.
Read the Fund Facts by viewing or downloading the document to review key information about the fund’s risk factors, past performance, costs, and investor rights.
Select I accept to agree to receive the Fund Facts electronically.
Select Continue.
Step 4: Review and finish transaction
Review the information to make sure it’s correct.
Select the Purchase button to confirm your purchase.
You'll receive a confirmation for your records.
