How to pay down a credit card balance using TD points or Cash Back Dollars on the TD app
Learn how to view your TD points and Cash Back Dollars balance, and how to redeem to pay down your credit card balance. This feature is only available for eligible TD Rewards and TD Cash Back cardholders. Aeroplan cardholders are not eligible.
Step 1: Go to My TD Rewards
Select Rewards from the Navigation bar.
Select Learn More.
View your TD points or Cash Back Dollars balance with your cards listed at the top of the page.
Step 2: Go to the Pay With Rewards page
Select the Pay With Rewards option.
If you have more than one credit card that earns TD points or Cash Back Dollars, select the card you want to pay with.
Otherwise, skip to the next step.
Step 3: Enter payment details
Enter the dollar amount you want to redeem in the Amount to Redeem field.
Alternatively, you can select the Minimum or Maximum amount buttons.
Select the Continue button.
Step 4: Review and confirm
Review your information to ensure it's correct.
Select the Pay Now button to confirm your redemption and submit the payment.
Your TD points or Cash Back Dollars balance will update immediately, but the payment may take up to 2 business days to appear in your account.
You'll receive a message and confirmation number for your records.
