Health and Social Services
Demand for health and social services continues to grow, stretching the capacity of many front-line agencies to meet the need.

TD is a major supporter of United Way and its agencies across Canada and the U.S. United Way is a major catalyst of social change in our society, funding food banks, shelters and other vital social service initiatives in hundreds of communities. TD employees are passionate about volunteering for United Way, and spearhead creative campaigns each year to raise money.

In the U.S., the TD Charitable Foundation donates to non-profit, public and private organizations to provide basic services like heat, shelter and food.

In Canada, TD is a long-time supporter and leading fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network, raising more than $70 million to date. Donations help fund the medical care that saves and improves the lives of more than 2.5 million Canadian children each year.
Capacity Building
The TD FEF Leadership Grant Program aims to enhance the organizational capacity of environmental charities by providing funding for both formal and informal training and development opportunities for leaders within these organizations.
The Non-Profit Training Resource Fund awards non-profits in the U.S. up to US $1,000 to provide job training, education and professional development opportunities for their employees. In the last three years, the fund, offered through the TD Charitable Foundation, has provided over 350 grants.
Responding to Disasters
Across our footprint and in other places around the world affected by natural disasters, we devote corporate funding for humanitarian and recovery efforts. Our employees and customers also donate money and volunteer to assist those affected.
